The shoulders are the most mobile joints in the body, and the shoulder girdle is a complex system that depends on a delicate balance between stability, mobility, and strength. This mobility is not only essential for athletic performance, but also for many everyday activities we often take for granted—until pain or dysfunction sets in.

In this lecture-to-practice style workshop, you’ll learn to identify and correct compensations, as well as modify for clients with dysfunctional movement patterns in the shoulder complex. We'll revisit familiar Pilates exercises through a new lens to promote healthier shoulder mechanics, improve functional mobility, and build strength throughout the shoulder region.

Through thoughtful progressions, you’ll discover progressions you’ll learn how to confidently support a wide range of client needs.
